Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Casual Cashier at The Point Mall, Sea Point to support customer service at point of sale and record transactions accurately in line with SOPs. You will handle cash, card and voucher payments, manage loyalty cards and help maintain a secure till while upholding Dis-Chem policies and delivering a world-class shopping experience.

Applicants should have Grade 12, at least 6 months cashier experience, good numeracy, basic MS Office skills, and strong English, with

Qualifications

Grade 12 / Matric is essential.
Minimum 6 months cashier/till operations experience.
Computer literate – MS Office.
Sound numerical skills.
Strong command of English.
Basic customer service.
Willing and able to work retail hours.

Responsabilités

Adhere to Dis-Chem’s customer service policies and procedures.
Establish a professional relationship with customers.
Report customer complaints and compliments to the Frontline Supervisor, or store management.
Adhere to the customer turnover hourly rate.
Be aware of current sales and promotions.
Ensure cash flow is secure and transactions are accurate.
Process all payments (cash, cards, vouchers, etc.).
Transact all purchases and processing of loyalty cards.
