Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Casual Cashier for The Point Mall, Sea Point store in Cape Town, South Africa. The role focuses on supporting customer service at the point of sale, recording transactions on the Dis-Chem operating system, and upholding company policies with zero tolerance for inaccuracies or fraud risk.

The ideal candidate has Grade 12, at least 6 months cashier experience, and strong English communication, with the ability to work retail hours and maintain accuracy in cash

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• At least 6 months’ cashier/till operations experience.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Sound numerical skills.
• Strong command of English.
• Basic customer service.
• Willing and able to work retail hours.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to Dis-Chem’s customer service policies and procedures.
• Establish a professional relationship with customers.
• Report customer feedback to the Frontline Supervisor or store management.
• Adhere to the customer turnover hourly rate.
• Be aware of current sales and promotions.
• Ensure cash handling is accurate and secure.
