Parow Dis-Chem Pharmacies Limited in Cape Town, Western Cape, is recruiting for a customer service role focused on delivering friendly, accurate service at the till and on the floor.

You will adhere to Dis-Chem policies, build professional relationships with customers, stay aware of promotions, and ensure cash handling is secure. This entry-level position requires attentiveness to safety and policy compliance while supporting the frontline team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service settings is preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and transactions accurately.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsabilités

• Adhere to Dis-Chem’s customer service policies and procedures.
• Establish a professional relationship with customers.
• Report customer complaints and compliments to the Frontline Supervisor, or store management.
• Adhere to the customer turnover hourly rate.
• Be aware of current sales and promotions.
• Ensure colleagues and customers are not exposed to any risk.
• Carry out and manage Dis-Chem 5 star communication principles.
• Be responsible for cash flow.
• Ensure all line voids and price changes are approved and signed off by the supervisor.
• Exchange merchandise for customers and accept returned goods by customers when authorised to do so.
