Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a Cashier based at Albany Bakery – Port Elizabeth Depot. You will count deposits, liaise with Fidelity Guards on deposits, and balance daily deposits to receipts. The role requires accuracy, the ability to work weekends and public holidays, and handling high volumes of cash under pressure.

Requirements include Grade 12 or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year experience as a cashier, with the ability to reconcile cash and maintain a clear credit record.

Overview

The successful candidate will need sound knowledge in basic counting and accuracy thereof. The successful candidate will need to work weekends and public holidays. This is a quick and highly pressurised position due to the fact of the amount of cash banked daily

Required Prior Learning

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience as a cashier
• Willing to work overtime and weekend shifts
