Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a diligent Cashier to support daily cash handling, receipts, and banking reconciliations at our Polokwane offices. The role involves counting large volumes of cash, liaising with Fidelity Guards and Coin Security for deposits, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Applicants should have Grade 12, 2–3 years related experience, solid MS Office skills, and knowledge of accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years related experience.
• English and Mathematics (Literacy or Pure Maths).
• High degree of competency in MS Office packages.
• Knowledge of Accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash deposits and large volumes of cash.
• Complete receipts accurately and timely.
• Count and reconcile cash deposits.
• Liaise with Fidelity Guards and Coin Security for collection of cash.
• Reconcile cash and balance daily banking.
• Adhere to Safety and Quality standards per SoP and Work Instructions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Minimum requirements
