Job summary

Cash Crusaders is seeking a Debtors Clerk to manage the debtor’s book across approximately 300 stores in Cape Town. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and cashflow optimization.

You will handle statements, NetSuite ledgers, and ageing reports, while supporting audits and ad hoc accounting tasks. A Matric with Credit Control qualification, plus strong Excel and communication skills, is essential.

Qualifications

• Matric and Credit Control qualification required.
• Experience with debtor’s collections and maintaining a clean debtor’s book.
• Proficient in Excel (advanced) and NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Send out regular debtor statements and ageing reports.
• Update cash book processing in NetSuite for debtors’ collections.
• Generate ad hoc debtor reports for staff and management.
• Process credit notes after approval by senior management.
• Calculate interest on overdue accounts and circulate turnover reports.
