Job summary

FirstRand Limited in Cape Town is seeking a Service and Sales Advisor (JITS) on a fixed term contract to handle inbound and outbound customer interactions. You will contribute to sales through appropriate product recommendations while ensuring high standards of service and governance within a busy call centre.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and team collaboration, with full training provided and a focus on customer-centric solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification – Matric (Grade 12).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Client Services is advantageous but not essential.
• Relevant NQF Level 5 qualification or Diploma would be advantageous.
• Comprehensive training and support will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions across channels (phone, email).
• Resolve queries to achieve customer satisfaction and business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to offer relevant financial solutions and cross-sell where appropriate.
• Maintain governance, compliance and service delivery standards.
• Meet SLAs, document interactions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
