Job summary

Wigmore Trading Limited is seeking a Commission-Only Sales Associate in Cape Town to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and close high-value trade deals in FMCG, industrial, and commodity sectors.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of sales or business development experience, a relevant degree, and a strong network within South Africa’s wholesale and retail industries. This full-time, commission-based role offers regional exposure and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Trade preferred.
• 3–5 years of proven sales or business development experience.
• Prior exposure to FMCG, import/export, or B2B trading environments is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and wholesalers in Cape Town and surrounding regions.
• Promote Wigmore Trading’s diverse range of FMCG, industrial, and commodity products.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in South Africa’s trade and retail sectors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms in collaboration with Wigmore’s head office.
• Conduct regular market research to assess competition, trends, and opportunities.
• Manage client communications, prepare quotations, and oversee deal closures.
• Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries and service quality.
• Represent Wigmore Trading at trade shows, exhibitions, and business networking events.
