Job summary

Wigmore Trading Limited is seeking a Commission-Only Sales Associate for Durban and KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth in FMCG, industrial, and commodity sectors.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of sales experience, a relevant degree, and a strong regional network. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are essential; English proficiency is required with other SA languages a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Trade preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in sales, trading, or business development.
• Proven track record in FMCG, import/export, or B2B distribution.
• Strong business network within South Africa’s retail and wholesale sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers across KwaZulu-Natal.
• Promote Wigmore Trading’s portfolio of FMCG, industrial, and commodity products.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts in coordination with the Lagos head office.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and competitors.
• Manage client communications, prepare quotations, and handle follow-ups.
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure efficient order delivery.
• Represent Wigmore Trading at business forums, trade shows, and networking events.
• Maintain accurate records of client activity, performance metrics, and market feedback.
