Job summary

Higher Health seeks a dedicated professional to support recruitment and supervision of peer mentors and educators across campuses, while overseeing psychosocial support services. You will coordinate the civic wellness curriculum, link students to health services, and manage stakeholder relations.

You will also drive data collection, reporting, and communications to promote Higher Health programmes within the tertiary sector, including TVETs and CETs. On-site work in Cape Town is required.

Qualifications

• Matric and a relevant degree in Social Work or Social Science required.
• Experience in case management and report writing is preferred.
• Knowledge of higher education sector and stakeholder engagement is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment and supervision of peer mentors and peer educators at all campuses and centres.
• Oversee social support services and ensure linkage to psychosocial support for students.
• Coordinate civic and wellness skills programmes with colleges and TVETs/CETs.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and attend management meetings to share progress.
• Coordinate data collection, reporting, and data sharing with partners.
• Lead communications and advocacy to promote Higher Health programmes on campuses.
• Assist with administration, timesheets, and health programme logistics.
