Job summary

CampusKey Student Living in Potchefstroom is seeking a maintenance-oriented team member to handle daily handyperson duties and assist students with maintenance requests. You will coordinate with sub-contractors and operate the maintenance app.

We value integrity, dependability, and the ability to deliver quality results. Role requires after-hours availability and a proactive, collaborative approach within a dynamic student-hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant courses or experience in basic handyman skills
• At least 1 year experience in a hotel/hospitality environment
• Strong verbal communication skills in English, Afrikaans and preferably a 3rd language

Responsibilities

• Receive and execute maintenance from a job – card system
• Assist students with maintenance as and when required
• Manage and assist sub-contractors onsite
• Be available after hours and on weekends to assist with maintenance issues
• Assist the team with site walks to execute the noise protocol
• Good stock taking and stock management skills
• Operate the maintenance tracking system electronically (phone APP)
• Assist Community function team when required
• Follow operational protocol
