Job summary

Staff Unlimited Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep outdoor spaces and facilities safe and well-maintained in Cape Town. You will handle gardening, debris removal, repairs, plumbing and electrical checks, and assist with renovations, responding promptly to maintenance requests from occupants and supervisors.

You should have proven maintenance or handyman experience, be safety-minded, and able to troubleshoot.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance or handyman roles.
• Skills in painting, plumbing, repairs, fault finding.
• Basic knowledge of C and R programming languages (nice-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor gardens and landscaping.
• Manage debris removal and cleaning.
• Perform repairs and fault diagnosis.
• Install structural fixtures.
• Conduct custodial and after-hours maintenance tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests.
• Support construction and renovation activities.
