Job summary

Hospitalityandoutdoor in South Africa is seeking an experienced Camp Manager with Chef or Sous Chef background to lead our safari lodge operations. The role combines high‑level staff management with hands‑on kitchen oversight to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will oversee day‑to‑day camp operations, host guests, manage staff, and work autonomously in bush conditions while maintaining safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• RSA ID and legal residence required.
• Experience in a safari lodge or camp environment.
• Proven camp or lodge management experience.
• Chef or Sous Chef experience.
• Ability to assist with food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Recognised Chef qualification advantageous.
• Excellent guest relations and hosting skills.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Able to work independently in bush environment.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to assist across the camp.
