MPRTC seeks an experienced Camp Lodge Manager with Chef/Sous Chef background to oversee operations at a safari camp in Musina, Limpopo. The role combines camp management, guest relations, and kitchen oversight with hands-on food preparation.

Candidates should demonstrate proven leadership, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a remote bush environment; live-in accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• RSA ID and legal residence required.
• Experience in hospitality or lodge management.
• Experience in safari lodge or camp preferred.
• Proven leadership and staff supervision experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Computer literacy (email, Word, Excel) and reporting.
• Attention to detail and judgment under pressure.
• Physical fitness for remote bush living and long days.
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day camp operations.
• Manage staff and daily camp activities.
• Host guests and ensure excellent guest experience.
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Support menu planning and meal preparation.
• Manage food stock, ordering, costs, and hygiene.
• Maintain high culinary and presentation standards.
• Support general camp duties as needed.
