Château Gâteaux is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, manage staff, and ensure top customer service and quality standards. You will oversee stock ordering, admin tasks, and reporting while maintaining high levels of hygiene and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in a management role within Food & Beverage, Grade 12, and a relevant tertiary qualification. Strong numeracy and proficiency in MS Excel/Word/Outlook are required.

Formación

• Grade 12/Matric is required and a tertiary qualification in Food & Beverage is preferred.
• Experience in a management position within the Food & Beverage industry is essential.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting and strong numeracy are advantageous.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook is expected.
• Excellent people skills and a meticulous attention to detail are required.

Responsabilidades

• Open, close and manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Oversee stock ordering and inventory control.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and hygiene.
• Lead and motivate staff, manage admin and reporting duties.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance with procedures.
