Job summary

Fancourt in George is seeking a Caddie Master to lead the daily caddie operation and deliver an outstanding golf experience. You will schedule, briefing and manage caddies to meet tee times, events and guest expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, organisation and service focus, with early mornings, weekends and holidays typical. A passion for golf and hospitality will help you lead a high-performing team and maintain Fancourt’s service standards.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Experience in golf operations, caddie management, hospitality or related service
• Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict-management skills
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage daily caddie rotation, availability, attendance and allocations
• Coordinate caddie requirements with tee times, events and tournaments
• Ensure fair caddie coverage for members, guests and visitors
• Brief caddies on daily operations, service and course requirements
• Maintain professional conduct, golf etiquette and safety compliance
• Oversee caddie uniforms, staging area and equipment
• Maintain attendance, bookings, incidents and guest feedback records
• Communicate with Golf Management and Caddie Team
