Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Golf Course Manager to oversee all operations at a premier Gauteng facility in Midrand. You will lead maintenance strategy, guest experience, and profitability, aligning with our client’s vision for excellence in leisure and sports.

The role requires at least 5 years' senior golf course management, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and a background in agronomy or turfgrass.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a golf course or similar senior role.
• Expertise in turfgrass management and course maintenance best practices.
• Strong budgeting, P&L responsibility, and revenue-generation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance and agronomy plans for optimal playing conditions.
• Manage daily operations, tee time scheduling, events, and guest services.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability reporting.
• Lead and mentor grounds staff, pro shop and customer service teams.
• Drive marketing and promotions to grow green fees and memberships.
