Placements24 is seeking a skilled Buyer for its hospitality clients in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. The role focuses on procuring F&B, linens, cleaning, and maintenance goods with emphasis on cost control and supplier relationships.

The successful candidate will negotiate terms, manage inventories, and ensure timely deliveries to support multiple establishments within the Mpumalanga region. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in hospitality, supply chain, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' procurement experience focused on operational goods, preferably in hospitality or service.
• Proven negotiation skills and supplier-contract management experience.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/inventory software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on operational goods, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.
• Proven ability to negotiate effectively and manage supplier contracts.
• Good understanding of inventory management principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with procurement or inventory management software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
