Job summary

South African Breweries Pty (ltd) is seeking a Business Development Representative to drive growth in volumes and market share within assigned sectors. You will work with distributors, ensure product availability, and maintain strong in-store visibility and pricing.

The role requires a 3-year degree and 2+ years in sales/FMCG, with solid administration and relationship-building skills. Local area knowledge is essential for success in this territory.

Qualifications

• 3 year degree qualification is required.
• 2+ years’ experience in sales/marketing/FMCG environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
• Manage and supervise Distributors of assigned sector (orders, payment, re-distribution).
• Ensure IB products are available in reasonable stock in customers and retail outlets.
• Ensure merchandising of brands in POS and chiller areas.
• Monitor pricing of products at sales outlets.
• Monitor actions of the competition.
