Hire Resolve is collaborating with a forward-thinking company in the Renewables sector to find a driven and innovative Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with clients, and driving growth in the renewable energy market.


Our client's commitment to sustainability and innovative energy solutions makes them a leader in the Renewables industry. They are looking for someone passionate about renewable energy and keen on making a significant impact in this rapidly evolving field.


Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  3. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
  4. Develop and present persuasive proposals and sales presentations
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs
  6. Strategically plan and execute plans to achieve business growth targets

Requirements:
  1. Experience of over three years in the commercial and industrial Solar space.
  2. Experience in the sale of both our purchases and Power purchase agreements.
  3. Demonstrable sales record in quantifiable numbers in the form of Megawatt hours or Rand value.
  4. Must be presentable, articulate, and analytically capable. Should be able to develop their own proposals in collaboration with our Tsepho and engineers as well as the marketing manager.
  5. Must have their own reliable form of transport.
  6. Preferably someone who has held a management position and managed a team of salespeople and is capable of setting up a sales team.
  7. They will report directly to the managing director and CFO.
  8. Preferably someone who has occupied positions at reputable Solar Companies.
