POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking Business Developers to identify and develop new business opportunities within the FMCG sector, with a focus on Spaza Shops and independent retailers. The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying 'white spaces', areas with untapped potential, and converting them into revenue-generating customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• New Business Development
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in untapped markets.
  • Conduct field visits to find new customers and areas for growth.
  • Map and penetrate areas with business potential.
  • Generate leads and convert them into customers.
• Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and manage relationships with potential customers.
  • Understand customer needs and maintain regular contact.
  • Identify ways to increase customer engagement and sales.
• Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Promote products and solutions to potential customers.
  • Support the sales process and meet business targets.
  • Monitor customer activity and drive further growth.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with Sales and Marketing teams to convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions and competitor activity.
  • Implement initiatives to increase market penetration.

FIELD-BASED REQUIREMENTS
