SavageOne Pty Ltd is seeking a Business Analyst to work on-site in Woodmead, reporting to the Business Analysis and PMO Manager. The role focuses on investigating, analysing, developing, testing, and implementing systems and processes that improve organisational effectiveness.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in business analysis, with strong skills in MS Excel and Power BI, and experience mapping procedures. Agile exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric is required with a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance and/or IT advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis, process mapping or new system implementations.
• Operational experience in mapping and improving procedures.
• Experience with Agile project management is a plus.
• Ability to analyse data using MS Excel or Power BI analytics.

A vacancy exists at our client for a Business Analyst, based onsite atWoodmead, reporting to the Business Analysis and PMO Manager.

Job Purpose

To investigate, analyse, develop, test and implement new and changed systems as well as business processes that provide effective solutions for the organisation, while documenting business processes and requirements.

This role is instrumental in analysing and documenting business procedures and ensuring they are relevant and published to the business, thereby ensuring operational effectiveness across all functional areas.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Skills Required

Matric.

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance and/or IT advantageous.

Minimum of 3 years experience involving business analysis, process mapping, or involvement in the execution of new system implementations.

Operational experience in mapping and improving procedures.

Agile project management experience will be advantageous.

Ability to analyse data using MS Excel or Power BI analytics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Engagement

Drive Change Proposal Requests with Functional Areas.

Evaluate and prioritise items logged into the PMO against business strategic objectives.

Define business case requirements with stakeholders that align with key business drivers, ensuring a strong value proposition in requirements and achieved outcomes.

Liaise with Operations Development resources to prioritise delivery items in line with business priorities.

Ensure sprint planning includes priority items and that delivery timelines are recorded.

Process Mapping and Implementation

Map new procedures and publish them to the business.

Adjust existing procedures and ensure they are communicated and published appropriately.

Establish and maintain a comprehensive repository of procedures with proper version control, managed by owners within functional areas.

Ensure all standard operating procedures update the Operations Manual and are communicated to relevant stakeholders to ensure business continuity and improvement.

Update training material to ensure procedural changes are communicated and implemented where relevant.

Identify areas for improvement within the business and map recommended outcomes for approval and implementation.

Act as liaison and key stakeholder during project delivery and testing phases to implement business requirements, providing guidance and input where required.

Management and Delivery of Outcomes

Coordinate delivery of key projects within the area of responsibility, including defining acceptance criteria, prioritising scope, and test criteria.

Oversee the updating and validation of the Operations Manual and ensure publishing of all artefacts by the relevant owners.

Support onboarding of new products and services, including supplier onboarding, system mapping, and any development required to launch offerings.

Participate in special projects as assigned, applying project management skills to ensure successful delivery.

Perform additional assignments as requested by the Business Analysis and PMO Manager or other senior executives from time to time.
