Job summary

Recru-It is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to drive multiple concurrent projects in a digitally transforming environment. You will align business strategy with technology delivery, develop clear BRDs and functional specs, and ensure governance and traceability across initiatives.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, map as-is and to-be processes, and translate business needs into actionable development tasks while supporting SDLC, UAT, and quality controls.

Qualifications

• Relevant Degree / Diploma in IT, Business Analysis, Information Systems; OR Matric with 10 years experience and a recognised Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA).
• Minimum 10 years relevant Business Analysis experience within Software Application Development environments.
• Process Engineering background and experience would be beneficial and preferred.
• Proven experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis across multiple concurrent projects.
• Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
• Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, Functional Specifications, User Stories and Process Maps.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and engagement sessions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
• Support SDLC phases including design, development, testing and UAT.
• Support the UAT process by providing guidance and clarifying requirement ambiguities.
• Maintain requirements traceability.
• Conduct gap analysis and process improvement activities.
• Analyse and map current and future-state business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate process redesign and optimisation initiatives aligned with business objectives and technology solutions.
• Define process measures, controls, and performance indicators to support continuous improvement.
