Job summary

Sasso Consulting is assisting an established FMCG business in Roodepoort to recruit a Brand Manager who will craft and execute brand strategies, drive market share growth, and manage portfolios for profitability. The role suits a junior brand manager ready to progress or an early-career professional seeking broader ownership of consumer brands.

Based in Roodepoort, the successful candidate will lead cross-functional collaboration, manage campaigns and launches, and contribute to demand planning

Qualifications

• BCom Honours in Marketing Management or closely related qualification.
• 2+ years FMCG brand management experience; product launches and marketing budgets.
• Strong commercial understanding of sales, market share and profitability.
• Excellent analytical, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent business English; valid Code 08 driver's licence; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor annual brand strategies, marketing plans and budgets.
• Manage brand positioning, identity, architecture and product life cycles.
• Coordinate integrated campaigns, promotions, sampling and POS initiatives.
• Oversee new product development, launches, line extensions and packaging.
• Analyze consumer insights, Nielsen data and market share performance.
• Present brand strategies and performance reports to senior management.
