Job summary

Standard Bank Group seeks a branch-based leader to oversee the POR within Personal and Private Banking. You will drive sales, service quality, and client experience while enforcing risk controls and compliance. A Diploma with FAIS is required, along with experience guiding frontline teams in a busy branch environment.

You will manage daily operations, cash handling, security, and process adherence, using data to optimize performance and customer outcomes in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or FAIS NQF6 qualification in banking or related field.
• FAIS Representative status.
• 3–4 years frontline banking experience with sales, service delivery and client engagement.
• Experience leading frontline teams and coordinating people processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team to deliver sales, service and client experience objectives.
• Drive branch financial performance by growing revenue and deepening client relationships.
• Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, security, transactions and process adherence.
• Monitor risk and ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance.
• Analyse branch performance data and implement improvements across people, processes and systems.
