Job summary

Standard Bank Group in Worcester is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a frontline team, delivering sales, service and client experience objectives while building a high-performance culture.

You will drive branch financial performance by identifying opportunities to grow revenue, deepen client relationships and increase product uptake, while overseeing daily operations, managing risk and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years’ experience in a frontline banking environment.
• Proven experience leading frontline teams to achieve sales, service and client objectives.
• Experience managing team performance, coaching and development with Human Capital
• Strong knowledge of branch operations, risk controls, compliance, cash handling and banking processes

• Diploma or Advanced Certificate (NQF6 FAIS recognised qualification) in Banking, Finance, Business Management or a related field

Minimum Experience:

• 3 to 4 years’ experience in a frontline banking environment, with strong exposure to sales, service delivery and client engagement
• Proven experience leading or coordinating a frontline team to deliver on sales, service, operational and client experience objectives
• Experience managing team performance, coaching and development, while supporting people processes in partnership with Human Capital
• Strong working knowledge of branch operations, risk controls, compliance requirements, cash handling and banking processes
