Job summary

Standard Bank Group in South Africa seeks an experienced banking professional to support Personal & Private Banking operations and client coverage.

You will lead frontline service, drive sales targets, and ensure compliance, cash handling and security protocols in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Personal and Private Banking or Client Coverage roles.
• Demonstrated front-line experience in serving customers and meeting sales and service objectives.
• Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge of branch operations, including other departments and their functions Core.
• Team leadership and staff development experience.
• Strong understanding of cash handling, security protocols, and operational compliance.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management capabilities.
• Proficiency in performance management and staff appraisal processes.
• Sound knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to banking operations.

Job Description

To ensure the effective functioning of a Point/s of Representation (POR/s) including operational aspects (e.g., security, cash, etc.) and sales and service matters in line with client experience and laid down requirements. (Applicable where UB I, Cash Consultant I/II, forex and CLO are present).
