The Staff Connection in Durban is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead daily operations, supervise and develop staff, manage hiring and performance, and uphold the highest standards of customer service.

You will oversee stock control, support sales activities, ensure regulatory compliance, monitor branch performance with key metrics, resolve issues promptly, and foster strong relationships with staff, customers and suppliers while driving efficiency.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role in the electrical engineering industry or similar
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel if required
• Relevant business/operational qualification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Knowledge of stock management, sales support, and administrative processes.

• Effectively manage time, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify and solve problems promptly and effectively.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Adapt to changing priorities and remain flexible in a dynamic work environment.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant qualification in business management, operations, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the electrical engineering industry or similar industry.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel if required.
