Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited is seeking a Branch Advisor to deliver compliant financial advice within a high-volume POP environment. You will build lasting client relationships, educate customers on the right banking channels, and support sales and service targets while maintaining rigorous records and adherence to FAIS and TCF principles.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / NQF level 4 minimum.
• Preferred: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related FAIS fields.
• 1-3 years of experience in customer-facing environments, service delivery, or client support within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term client relationships to support retention and growth.
• Provide a positive customer experience by being helpful and sensitive to customer transactional needs and expectations.
• Educate customers to the correct Banking platform aligned with their needs.
• Connect with our customers by living up to our brand promise of “how can we help you?” at all times.
• Analyze customer data and provide appropriate financial advice and solutions aligned to client financial goals and in accordance with FAIS requirements.
• Maintain accurate and complete client records and documentation.
• Achieve individual and branch sales and service targets.

• Show empathy to customers.
