Job summary

FirstRand Bank Limited is seeking a Branch Advisor to join our Points of Presence in South Africa. You will provide compliant, professional financial advice to walk-in clients in a high-volume branch, educating customers on the correct channels and ensuring adherence to FAIS, FICA and TCF standards.

You will build lasting client relationships, meet sales and service targets, and maintain accurate records while continually developing product knowledge in a collaborative, ethical environment.

Qualifications

• FAIS knowledge and client-centric advice principles
• Ability to meet sales, service, and compliance targets
• NQF Level 5 Banking-related qualification recognized by FAIS

Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term client relationships to support retention and growth
• Provide a positive customer experience by being helpful and sensitive to customer transactional needs and expectations
• Educate customers to the correct Banking platform aligned with their needs
• Connect with our customers by living up to our brand promise of "how can we help you?" at all times
• Analyze customer data and provide appropriate financial advice and solutions aligned to client financial goals and in accordance with FAIS requirements
• Maintain accurate and complete client records and documentation
• Achieve individual and branch sales and service targets
• Conduct yourself in an ethical manner
• Take accountability for your own performance, personal and career development
• Show empathy to customers
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge
