JVR Software in Gauteng seeks an experienced finance professional to oversee regional accounting functions and drive accurate IFRS-compliant reports. You will manage fixed assets, debtors and creditors, perform reconciliations, and monitor branch expenses, ensuring timely, accurate ledgers.

SAP experience and a strong analytical mindset are essential. Applicants should have a B.Com Accounting or B.AccSci, at least five years in motor industry accounting, and a Code 8 license.

Qualifications

• Matric.
• Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Bachelor of Accounting Science.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the motor industry.
• Experience using the SAP accounting system.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Code 8 driver’s licence.
• Ability to read and write in English.

Responsabilités

• Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage and control fixed assets, debtors and creditors.
• Perform payment and balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure that these are resolved promptly.
• Reconcile stock records and oversee stock management.
• Monitor and control branch expenses.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly journals, oversee the general ledger, and ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately within the required deadlines.
• Review vehicle stock counts.
• Monitor the financial aspects of parts distribution processes and proactively recommend improvements where appropriate.
• Oversee and control the branch’s financial activities.
• Perform additional accounting duties and support junior staff members as required or assigned.
• Ensure that all financial policies and procedures are consistently followed.
