Red Ember Recruitment (PTY) Ltd in Kempton Park seeks a Branch Accountant to manage IFRS reporting, stock control and branch finances.

You will prepare financial statements, reconcile assets and liabilities, and oversee the general ledger while mentoring junior staff.

A Bachelor in Accounting and at least five years in the motor industry are required, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• IFRS knowledge and financial reporting.
• 5 years’ motor industry accounting experience.
• Postgraduate accounting degree is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Prepare reports and financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Control fixed assets, debtors and creditors.
• Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies on time.
• Reconcile stock and stock management.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly journals; oversee the general ledger.
• Monitor branch financial activities and propose improvements.

Red Ember Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Branch Accountant for their client in

• Prepare accurate report and financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Control Fixed-assets debtors and creditors.
• Perform various payment and balance sheet reconciliations and ensure that discrepancies are resolved on time.
• Reconcile stock and stock management
• Expenses control
• Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly journals (oversee the general ledger and ensure that all transactions are recorded correctly within set deadlines)
• Review of Vehicle stock counts
• Monitor the financial aspects of Parts distribution processes and pro-actively recommend improvements where necessary and appropriate.
• Control branch financial activities.
• Perform other accounting duties and support junior staff members as required or assigned.
• Ensuring that all policies and procedures within finances are adhered to.
