This hands-on leadership role requires a calm, solutions‑focused approach, strong wine knowledge, and the ability to deliver exceptional experiences from guest arrival to farewell, while maintaining health, safety and stock controls.

Qualifications

• Proven restaurant management experience.
• Experience with weddings, functions and events is preferred.
• 5-star boutique estate or premium hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Excellent stock control and operational skills.
• Solid wine knowledge and guest service focus.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the front-of-house team.
• Drive daily restaurant operations and service excellence.
• Plan and execute weddings, functions and events.
• Maintain health, safety and hygiene compliance.
• Manage stock control, inventory and ordering.
• Deliver guest relations and resolve challenges.
• Support wine service and staff wine training.
• Ensure seamless execution from preparation through to completion.
