Placements24 has a distinguished boutique hotel in Vereeniging seeking a General Manager to steer all aspects of operations and drive profitability. You will lead cross-functional teams, shape strategic plans, and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction while safeguarding the property's reputation for excellence.

The role requires a proven leadership track record, strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage budgets, P&L, and KPIs in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 8 years in hotel management with at least 5 years in a GM/Operations role.
• Proven track record in managing operations and financial performance.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations across departments.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to meet goals.
• Manage budget, P&L and KPIs.
• Lead and motivate the hotel management team and staff.
• Drive sales and marketing to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Ensure regulatory, health, safety and quality standards.
• Maintain relationships with guests, suppliers and the community.
• Oversee maintenance and capital expenditure projects.
• Conduct performance reviews and staff development.
• Represent the hotel in public forums.
