Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in project management in renewable energy, with biomass focus.
• Experience managing capital projects from conception to completion.
• Knowledge of biomass feedstock sourcing, logistics, and conversion technologies.
• Familiarity with South Africa's project finance, contracts, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of biomass energy projects from planning to commissioning.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and technology evaluations.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, and supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and feedstock teams.
• Manage stakeholder relations, including communities, government, and investors.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigations.
