Job summary

The Focus Group is seeking a senior BI leader to design, develop and govern enterprise analytics across business functions. You will bridge Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Visualization, and stakeholder engagement to continually improve reporting cadence and user experience.

Lead and mentor BI teams, deliver enterprise dashboards, and drive data governance and analytics roadmaps in a large enterprise environment.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in IT, CS, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline.
Strong experience in BI, analytics, reporting or data engineering roles.
Certifications in Power BI and data engineering are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead Power BI reporting and analytics initiatives across multiple business areas.
Drive usability, adoption, and performance of dashboards and reports.
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
Build and optimise semantic models, datasets, and reporting frameworks.
Design and support modern data engineering pipelines and data integration processes.
Implement analytics governance and BI architecture best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Improve reporting delivery processes and drive BI team efficiencies.
Support enterprise‑wide self‑service analytics initiatives.
Mentor BI developers and analysts and promote BI best practices.
Contribute to data and analytics roadmaps aligned to business goals.
Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across reporting solutions.
