Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Banquets and Events Coordinator for a leading venue in George. You will manage all aspects of event planning from initial client consultations to final execution, ensuring memorable experiences for guests.

The role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work evenings and weekends, and collaboration with catering, AV, and front-of-house teams to deliver flawless events.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Events Coordinator or in a similar role in hospitality.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Familiarity with event planning software.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Creative flair and passion for memorable events in George.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of event planning, including client consultations, venue setup, and menu coordination.
• Develop event proposals, timelines, and budgets for profitability and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with catering, AV, and front-of-house teams for seamless events.
• Conduct site visits with potential clients to showcase capabilities.
