Placements24 is recruiting a proactive Banqueting and Events Manager for a prestigious Cape Town venue. You will plan, execute and deliver seamless banquets and events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions.

This role requires creativity, strong organizational skills and a passion for creating memorable client experiences. You will coordinate with culinary and service teams, manage budgets and ensure events exceed expectations, contributing to the venue's reputation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in event management (hotel or venue).
• Strong knowledge of event logistics, catering, and AV.
• Excellent negotiation, sales, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of event planning from inquiry to follow-up.
• Develop proposals, menus, and floor plans tailored to client requirements.
• Coordinate with kitchen, service, and technical staff for flawless execution.
• Conduct site inspections and client meetings; provide expert advice.
• Manage event budgets ensuring profitability and financial compliance.
