Placements24 is seeking a skilled Banqueting Chef for a prestigious Bloemfontein venue. You will lead the banqueting kitchen, design menus for weddings and conferences, and ensure flawless execution across events.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years as a chef with 2+ in banqueting, strong leadership, and expertise in diverse cuisines, HACCP, and cost management. A culinary degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chef, with 2+ years in banqueting.
• Strong knowledge of diverse cuisines and banquet menu planning.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a kitchen team.
• HACCP, food safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Experience with food costing, inventory control and budgeting.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Passion for creating exceptional food experiences for large groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and execute high-quality food for all banqueting events, ensuring consistency and presentation.
