Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• Bakery Management or Food Technology qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a bakery, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of bakery products, ingredients, baking processes, and production techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
• Experience in stock control, ordering, receiving, and managing wastage.
• Ability to manage staff, prepare work schedules, and monitor performance.
• Good numerical, administrative, and reporting skills.
• Computer literacy and experience with retail systems will be an advantage.
