Pick n Pay in Gauteng seeks an experienced Bakery Manager to oversee daily bakery operations, ensure quality, manage stock and wastage, and drive sales and profitability in a busy retail bakery.

You will lead the bakery team, schedule staff, maintain food safety standards and collaborate with store management to deliver excellent customer service and product presentation throughout trading hours.

Formación

• Grade 12 / Matric and baking qualification required.
• 5 years in bakery operations with supervisory/management experience.
• Experience in retail bakery is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day bakery operations and fresh product availability.
• Plan production schedules aligned with demand and seasonal trends.
• Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, scheduling and development.
• Manage costs, wastage, and stock control to maximise profitability.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and audit readiness.
