Job summary

Talent Shore is seeking a driven Sales Executive to convert inbound leads and grow commercial accounts in the South Africa market. You will engage with construction, electrical, plumbing, manufacturing and waste sectors, building lasting relationships and identifying value, while managing existing accounts and chasing new opportunities.

The role emphasizes proactive outreach, meetings with prospects, and collaborative work with marketing to drive lead generation.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, account management or business development.
• Strong telephone and video meeting communication skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset.
• Experience selling to construction, electrical, plumbing, manufacturing, waste or recycling sectors.
• Experience with lead generation and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Follow up inbound sales leads quickly and professionally.
• Contact prospective commercial customers by phone, email and in person.
• Qualify leads and understand the customer's current scrap management process.
• Identify opportunities to introduce Greencable's services.
• Arrange meetings with commercial prospects.
• Convert qualified leads into new accounts.
• Build strong relationships with decision makers and key contacts.
• Identify opportunities to increase volumes and expand services for existing customers.
• Follow up quotes, proposals and opportunities through to completion.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities and customer interactions.
• Work with Marketing to identify new lead-generation opportunities.
• Aim to meet sales and account growth targets.
