Remote Choice in South Africa seeks a Lead Generation & Business Research Specialist to identify live and upcoming construction projects, qualify opportunities, and build a steady pipeline for the UK-based sales team.

You will conduct online research, manage CRM records, and maintain data accuracy across Excel, Word and Outlook, with work hours aligned to UK time. This role focuses on online research rather than cold calling, with potential expansion into sales support over time.

Qualifications

• Strong online research skills to find and assess relevant business information.
• Confident CRM/database user with accurate data-entry.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Organised, self-motivated and dependable with strong written communication.
• Experience in B2B lead generation or sales research is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Research live and upcoming construction projects using specialist databases, planning portals, company websites, and other online sources.
• Review project information and planning drawings to identify relevant installation and wholesale opportunities.
• Assess potential leads against agreed criteria before adding them to the sales pipeline.
• Create and maintain opportunities, contact records and follow-up tasks in the CRM/ERP system, passing qualified opportunities to the BD team.
• Process potential leads shared by internal colleagues and identify additional opportunities through social media and independent research.
• Maintain accurate records and work towards a target of approximately 75 new leads per week.
