Job summary

FlySafair in Cape Town seeks a Line Warehouse Controller to manage spare parts movements, data entry in ERP, and stock control at the Cape Town Base. The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Manager and work a shift-based schedule.

Key duties include cycle counts, documentation for COMAT, tool and shelf-life item management, and ensuring warehouse access control. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent is essential.
• Forklift license advantageous; C1/B License essential.
• 2–3 years in warehouse operations; valid EB driver’s license advantageous.
• Willing to work shifts; knowledge of stock management and FIFO.

Responsibilities

• Manage spare parts movements between base and stations.
• Enter data into ERP to maintain stock accuracy.
• Conduct weekly cycle counts and random counts.
• Maintain records and documentation for spares movements.
• Load spares on requisition system and update ERP after receipt.
• Assist with loading/offloading of spares on aircraft.
• Ensure warehouse access is controlled and daily reporting is done.
• Address spare requests via requisition system, email, or calls.
