Job summary
Placements24 invites applications from skilled Aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technicians to join our client’s airport services team in Rustenburg, North West. You will inspect, maintain, repair, and overhaul GSE such as tow tractors, belt loaders, baggage carts, and de-icing gear, ensuring safe and reliable aircraft handling.

Qualifications
- A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong diagnostic ability across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with heavy machinery or ground support equipment is essential.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to read technical manuals.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and repairs on all GSE types.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues.
- Dismantle, inspect, repair, reassemble and test faulty components.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records in the GSE system.
- Operate GSE to test functionality and ensure safe operation.
