Job summary

The Talent Room is seeking a driven Financial Advisor to join our Johannesburg team. Fully FAIS compliant and capable of operating an autonomous advisory practice within an independent brokerage framework, you will access multiple product providers and an established client base.

Minimum 5 years of experience, a Finance/Economics/Business degree or NQF 5 in Wealth Management, and a CFP designation are preferred. A reliable vehicle and strong sales acumen are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Fully FAIS compliant and out of supervision for Category I products
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Financial Advisor capacity
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or an NQF Level 5 in Wealth Management (or related qualification)
• CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or recognised Financial Advisor designation advantageous
• Own reliable vehicle, laptop, cellphone, and stable connectivity
• Strong sales acumen, entrepreneurial drive, and ability to work autonomously

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate new business via company targets, self-sourced leads, and internal brokerage referrals
• Deliver comprehensive financial planning and advisory services across insurance, investment, and risk solutions
• Manage, service, and retain an active client portfolio while building long‑term client relationships
• Ensure strict adherence to FAIS regulations, compliance standards, and internal operational processes
• Build and manage an autonomous advisory practice utilizing an independent brokerage model with multi-provider access
