Placements24 is seeking an Automotive Production Supervisor for its Vereeniging, Gauteng facility. The role involves hands-on leadership of daily production activities, driving lean improvements, and ensuring quality and safety across the plant floor.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and lean manufacturing experience, with a track record of guiding teams to meet production targets in an automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Production Supervisor or Team Lead in manufacturing, automotive preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with lean methodologies and health/safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure timely completion of targets.
• Monitor processes for quality, safety, and specifications.
• Lead and train a diverse team of production operators.
• Implement lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain production records and analyze data for improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance to resolve issues.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental policy compliance.
