Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Production Manager to lead a state-of-the-art facility in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will oversee all production activities, drive efficiency, quality, and safety, and manage a large team to meet ambitious targets.

The role requires a strong background in automotive manufacturing, proven leadership, and a track record of optimizing production operations. Relocation support may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Master's degree advantageous for leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to meet targets.
• Develop and implement production strategies to improve efficiency and quality.
• Lead and mentor the production team, promoting continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on the floor.
• Manage production schedules, resources and inventory.
• Implement KPIs for production output and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control and supply chain.
• Drive lean manufacturing and other improvements in the facility.
