Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or automotive engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in automotive engine tuning and calibration.
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engine theory.
• Proficiency with engine dynos and data acquisition systems (MoTeC, Haltech, ECUMaster).
• Experience with ECU tuning software and protocols.
• Solid knowledge of engine management systems and EFI.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement ECU tuning strategies for various vehicle platforms.
• Conduct dynamometer testing to measure and optimize engine performance.
• Analyze engine data logs to identify performance trends.
• Calibrate fuel delivery, ignition timing, and boost control.
• Work with standalone and factory ECU remapping.
• Collaborate with mechanical technicians for hardware installation.
• Troubleshoot engine performance issues and propose solutions.
• Stay updated on engine tech, tuning software, and hardware.
• Document tuning procedures, specifications, and results.
