Job summary

Woolworths Financial Services is seeking a Test Analyst – Automation to join the CIO Software Test Team. You will translate business and technical requirements into risk-based test coverage and design, develop, execute and maintain automated test solutions across web, mobile, API and integrated platforms.

You will collaborate with delivery teams, adapt to change and contribute to quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle, while improving automation frameworks and reporting.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or IT diploma or equivalent qualification.
• ISTQB automation certification is advantageous.
• Automation experience may substitute for certs.

Responsibilities

• Understand processes, solution architecture, interfaces and non-functional considerations.
• Plan, design and execute functional, exploratory, API and mobile testing with delivery teams.
• Define and implement automation aligned with app architecture and risk.
• Design, develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and data.
• Automate suitable scenarios and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyse failed tests and drive timely resolution.
• Maintain traceability across requirements, tests and defects.
• Report test progress, coverage and release readiness.
• Improve testing practices and tooling.
